I always suspected this was about Bowie, but I'm probably projecting. Anyway, I love this song.

This track always stood out for me... amongst an oeuvre I appreciate greatly, and an album (Eye) I adore. Queen Elvis seems more personal and less obtuse than most of his songs. It's sad beautiful, is, not surprisingly, attractive to me, as is it's (seeming?) meditation on transgenderism.
there was a long time when Eye was my go to Saturday afternoon album.
