Way out ahead of the pack this week, Brazilian guitarist, singer and songwriter Rodrigo Amarante adds his solo releases to a catalogue of work as part of the bands Los Hermanos, Orquestra Imperial and Little Joy. His album Cavalo translates as Horse, and has taken him to the top of the global Hype Chart – no mean feat for a Portuguese-language album that’s yet to have an international release.
