Keep Calm and Carry On Jammin'...Old curmudgeonly knickers (me) posts 2 jams in under two days! This may be a precursor to the end of the world, so I'm goin' out with a foot-tapping, jollity-filled number, from the late, great Mr Lane. I was 14 when this perfect pop piece (nice alliteration dude) was released and although I've heard it only once or twice since that time, it drifted into my head today, amongst the other traffic that's already in there. What I love about being my age (er, 27) is that the interwebthingy, throws up all sorts of musical stuff that I didn't realise. On watching this video, I see the presence of a couple of chaps I've already Jammed, namely Messrs Gallagher & Lyle. It so sounds like one of their songs, I'm amazed I never realised they were a short-lived element of Slim Chance. Anyhoo, I hear the possibility of a Faces reunion (well, whoever's left standing) so perhaps that got my grey matter going on old Ron. Whatever, this song is a joy. Hope you agree...
