Today's #january31jam is Avalon by Roxy Music. Phil Manzanera, the guitarist, was born on January 31.
It was a lucky day when I bought this album. Never a Roxy Music fan before, and rarely since - I absolutely LOVE this album. One of my Top 10 all time albums. Lovely all the way through. Part of defining the 80's for me.
