In the spring of 1988, I set my class schedule for Tuesdays and Thursdays only so that I could drive with friends 12 whole hours from Texas to Atlanta JUST to hear authentic house music spun on Fridays and Saturday nights, and be back in time for Monday classes. This track continues to be at the top of the list of rawest house music club jams.
