What I probably was listening to most this week...20 years ago (Part 1). Yeah, she has a weird stage presence, but the album she's plugging here (along with producer T-Bone Burnett), Martinis and Bikinis, is a stone classic...so who cares that she doesn't shake it! The former Leslie Phillips already had done a couple of fine albums as "Sam" before releasing this one -- the one that finally caught my attention (I was late to the party, as usual). It's still a favorite today! (Album released March 8, 1994)
