I love this guy... here's Sammy Davis Jnr. with Mr Bojangles
Although the song was made a hit by the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, it is such a natural song for Sammy Davis Jr to sing. "He spoke through tears of 15 years how his dog and him traveled about. The dog up and died, he up and died And after 20 years he still grieves"
