Just as good as The Smiths original IMHO.

That as may be but then there's the Morrissey lyrics and that is why this works...the touching, sweet, sweet lyrics that crush me as easily as the 'ten-tonne truck' in the tale would ...SO full of aching and yearning that somehow,they manage to take the "alien-like"treatment of this song to the threshold of poignancy.......I like it!!
