After all the pain is gone...
To me this is an almost-perfect pop ballad. From the band's 2004 eponymous debut album. The "Mary" of the title is Mary Hanlon, a friend of band member Jake Shears, who sadly died in 2006.
I don't care what none of y'all say, this is an absolute tune.
