I saw this performed tonight, with an orchestra and choir. I was not previously aware of this song's connection to Peter Matthiessen, but now that I know I'm very fascinated and will likely read all his books this year. Well it depends how many books he's written. I'm kind of a slow reader ;)
Looking forward to finally seeing them this weekend!
