This was stuck in my head this morning.
Just can't get this out of my head! Lol
Okay. So this past May I finally earned my Bachelors degree and had the opportunity to interview for my dream job during final exams of my last semester of college. Well, wouldn't you know it, but I GOT THE JOB! They notified me that I was chosen for the position as I was driving home from my very last class. How perfect, right?
Well, little did I know, I would be strung along for six months until I FINALLY got my start date yesterday afternoon: I start this Monday!
So I was in the grocery store (yes, I am posting another grocery store song) last night and this came on and reminded me of the Seinfeld episode, The Bizarro Jerry, in which Kramer gets a nine to five job in NYC and the montage of his work day is scored by this song. As I feel a little Kramer-like these days, "lacking structure" and "drifting aimlessly" for the past six months, and my job is also in NYC from 9 to 5, this is undoubtedly my jam.
