So, a bit of a Newcastle connection with the last jam (Star Star - The Roling Stones), but I think you can safely say that the similarities between both songs begin and end there.
This song (and the whole New Gold Dream album) really do stand the test of time. There's none of that bloated, self-aggrandising 'sound' that the "Once Upon A Time" album gave us. But, to be fair they really made their name internationally with that record. Just not for me...
It was 27C here in Seoul today, nice breeze, not much humidity (that's coming soon) and this song came on my computer's media player. It just felt right.
