Just for you, @MadameZia… the first gig I ever went to: Simple Minds at Milton Keynes Bowl, June 21 1986. One million years from today (well, nearly 29 to be strictly accurate). Hearing this monster still gives me the chills, particularly when the thundering drum break kicks in… #ISawThemLive

Recently I saw a short documentary about this song, there's a nice story behind it :-) For me still one of the greatest 80's bands and I'm glad I'm gonna see them once more in november of this year :-)

I could be wrong, but I think the bassist plays the same note the entire way through this song.
