I was reading a thread in the comicbook SubReddit earlier today about Phil Noto's Hank Pym Photo Archive. One of the pics had this blurb with it: “Miss Betsy Braddock, London. This former model now works for the government and as seen here, is a fan of The Smiths. She also likes Joy Division/New Order, Ultravox, Public Image Limited, and Siouxsee and the Banshees. Any lads that fancy a smart girl with purple hair now know what music to play on the first date.” Reading the blurb made me wanna drop everything today and go find old Siouxsie and the Banshees records and just listen to them all day. Couldn't do that. Had to be a mature grownup all morning and afternoon, but I can listen to her now. If you haven't seen Phil Noto's Hank Pym Photo Archive, I recommend you google that and look for them. Even if you don't know a thing about comics, they're haunting images by a very talented illustrator. This is "superheroes" depicted in a way few have the courage to attempt. Nicely done.   10
