2nd on my list of albums that have stayed with me since the first listen is "Daydream Nation" by Sonic Youth. Remember seeing a video of Teenage Riot on TV (possibly The Chart Show) and thought it was amazing. Bought the album and loved it. Bought pretty much everything they've done since, but this is the one's still my favourite.

Chosen for no reason other than I listened to Daydream Nation in the car this morning and remembered what a damn fine band they are.
