This song is the epitome of 80s power ballad cheese. One of those songs that I loved as a kid (still have the 7" single) and can happily sing along to. This may not be Grace Slick's best song but it was the start of my love for her voice.
'60s Jefferson Airplane: counterculture, paeans to LSD and appearing at Woodstock. '80s (Jefferson) Starship: mullets, corporate rock and soundtracks to '80s cheese-fests. And yet ... it's just so hard to hate this song.
