The Price of Love by Status Quo
“Ever wondered how close early Status Quo was to early Spinal Tap, spending years starving to death recording poppy stuff before achieving success playing stadium hard-rock / heavy metal ? Up to their respective names... Yet, whereas the Tap was nothing but ridiculous of course, the Quo had quite a string of nice singles before making it in the charts with its rather simple-minded three-chord boogie-rock stuff. I even prefer anything they released from the time they were known as The Spectres up to, say, "Dog of Two Head". This Everly Brothers cover from the "Spare Parts" LP is a genuine killer heavy rocker. Enjoy !”
This jam is special! The first and only time it’s been posted was by OncleRRRouliane in Sep 2015.
