Ah, thus begins the beginning of the end for me. Since we're not sure what September holds, I'm going to jam my last 7 songs (since I mainly jam on weekdays) which will lead me to August 31st. My jams for the next 7 days (pending rights issues...) will be based on my avatar, my favorite album of all time from my favorite band of all time that contains my eternal jam - the brilliant "Aja" from Steely Dan. It's only 7 songs long, so maybe a cross between an EP and LP, but it's 7 precisely produced, brilliantly written jazz-rock fusion tunes that I love. The opener is the sublime and subtly funky (#funkyfriday ?) "Black Cow".   11
