Ska is so odd, in that upbeat/go-happy rhythms and tone can be overlaid with lyrics that depicted the polar opposite, and still be epically fantastic. To the point that my dear friend Brandon had been up and awake with very little to no sleep the previous days, yet still was able to jump up and down around the room "re-energized" multiple times. "When they come for me i'll be sitting at my desk with a gun in my hand, wearing a bulletproof vest singing 'My, my, my, how the time does fly, when you know your going to die by the end of the night'." ...gotta love it
