There is only so much meaning someone who is not part of the African diaspora can take from Afrofuturist works; it is for those who, through colonisation, have had even the very agency over their own narratives stripped. Sun Ra's influence and cosmic vision of the past, present and future goes above and beyond through time and space. Chilling and beautiful, "There Are Other Worlds" is the final track from a very special and important album.
