“Just learned of the recent passing of singer/songwriter Gavin Clark. Years ago I stumbled across Sunhouse's only album after hearing them on the soundtrack to Shane Meadow's excellent movie 24/7. Haven't played it for ages, but back in the late 90's that album meant an awful lot to me. Clark went on to make more music under his own name, and also with UNKLE & Clayhill. He contributed songs to most of Meadows' film & TV work too, so you may get a shiver of recognition when you hear that distinctive and beautiful, raw voice. RIP Gavin.”

Years ago I stumbled across Sunhouse's only album after hearing them on the soundtrack to Shane Meadow's excellent movie 24/7.
Haven't played it for ages, but back in the late 90's that album meant an awful lot to me. A powerful record, and if you like this track - devastatingly sad though it is - I recommend you check out the short doc Meadows made about Clark in 2007-08:
