Serendipity. I miss record shops. From my earliest school days, the joy of rifling through stacks of vinyl, stumbling onto bands you'd never heard of and sometimes choosing an album because of the band name and/or the cover. Back in 1999, I was having a browse in Missing Records (naturally, now missing) and in the £1.00 section, saw the Chinese takeaway cover of 'Crazy on the Weekend, by Sunhouse. Never heard of them, but something drew me to the CD and at only a quid, what's to lose. I bought what I consider to be the finest album I ever purchased, pound for pound (no pun intended). That's not easy for me to say. I've got some amazing music in my collection. However Jamster, if you listen to this track, I believe you'll know what I mean. I'm a funny old sod. Sometimes when I buy an album and love it, I kinda' don't want to share it. But TIMJ is all about sharing and I'm giving up my best kept secret to you guys. So...please lend it your ear.
