It's been a big week for Swim Deep. In the last seven days the band have announced plans for a UK tour later in the year which includes a show at London's Roundhouse, their biggest gig to date. They also announced they will be opening up Glastonbury's Other Stage in a few weeks time, the second largest at the iconic festival. However when you listen to Swim Deep's latest single One Great Song And I Could Change The World, the second from their forthcoming and as yet unnamed sophomore album, this big step up in audience size is unsurprising. With an irresistible chorus, feel good charm and the pulsing sounds of acid house seeping through, One Great Song And I Could Change The World suddenly sounds like less of a clever title and more like an achievable goal for Swim Deep. This is certainly a great song, only time will tell if the Brummy band can ride the wave of success far enough to conquer the globe too. Here's the video for the track - enjoy!
