The one song that brings me to a state of complete peace during times of stress.

B-side of the 'I Believe in You'-single. A progression from The Colour of Spring but not quite Spirit of Eden sounding yet. Beautiful anyways   1

Talk Talk are a band that just got better and better for ten years and then stopped. Their first three albums are great pop but the final two - "Spirit Of Eden" and "Laughing Stock" - are in a different league: unclassifiable and timeless, wonderful and wondrous. Neither album was exactly chart-friendly, but there were singles, and nestled on the B side of "I Believe In You" is this fragile, diaphanous gem.
