Defining the #70s in many respects, Tangerine Dream have released over 100 proper albums. On top of that, there're film soundtracks, bootlegs and (of course) Grand Theft Auto. What I thought was TD one day turned out to be Donna Summer's I Feel Love. They were pretty influential. I saw them live at the Glasgow Apollo three times in the mid #1970s with laser shows & a hashhaze. An event, an experience. I have just discovered that Edgar Froese died in January this year. Why am I always the last to know? #RIP Edgar- I liked his guitar on Force Majeure which is why I picked it over the better known stuff from between 1972 and 76. Edgar created instruments and doesn't get the credit he deserves for electronic music, my fave line up was Edgar, Chris Franke and Peter Baumann. Please set aside an album's length of time to listen - even if it's background music... you will definitely be rewarded with some surprises. Enjoy!   3
