RIP Edgar Froese. A true pioneer if ever there was one. This and 'The Dream Is Always The Same' really completes the slick minimalist appeal of 'Risky Business' to me.
"Edgar Froese, the founding member of the German electronic group Tangerine Dream, has died in Vienna, aged 70. "Froese died unexpectedly on Friday after a pulmonary embolism, his son, Jerome, said. "Tangerine Dream's psychedelic and trance-like use of synthesiser sound was a significant influence on the development of electronic music. Upon re-watching Drive I felt a little Tangerine Dream was in order.
Lately I'm really enjoying this TV-show Mr Robot . This track was in its latest episode (season1 episode 5) this track is at the end of the episode. It has been on repeat since I've seen it.
