2008-2010 #30thBirthdayJams Ah, the engagement/getting married years. Lovely jubbly. Having through pure happenstance come across The Acorn when they were on the wonderful Kelp Records, I couldn't believe it when they first came over to the UK. Cue a visit to some tiny upstairs venue in Brighton, chatting with Rolf and the band afterwards and then enjoying a stay in a seedy hostel - my one and only overnight trip to see a band. They were brilliant too.
