from where I stand....I see a broken land

Ship ahoy, my little lobster thermidors! Your wee cheeky, cheery Jamrespondent from the frozen north, returns with ever burgeoning dollops of unbridled jubilation...hell it's murder being this happy, not to mention exceptionally tedious (as I feel certain you'll agree, having to read this tripe). "And just what is making you, our beloved, cuddly curmudgeon, so full of spring-like frivolity?" I hear y'all ask (actually someone at the back of Jam class said, "oh just bugger off, would you", but i'll ignore that). In truth, I have no idea why, though everyone seems to like it, so i'll keep the happy plate spinning a wee while longer. Now what was I on for...oh yes, my third Jam in rapid succession. Responding to a fine Jam by @lindatee recently, I remarked on how 80s music gets a rough ride. Unfair, it would seem. I bought a lot of stuff in the 80s and rifling thru my singles collection, this corker turned up. If you haven't heard it, you're in for a treat. Nurse, more orange smarties...   44

Always brilliant, it's somehow incredibly moving seeing Terry Sharpe singing this when twenty years older.

The Adventures. Should have been huge. More importantly, this was recorded when they reformed after 20 years. They could have given them a bigger stage - they're crammed into there like sardines!
