Grab your tissues! Apparently about the end of one's life journey. The key undertone is of fondness/friendship and forgiveness. I realise that this song has been around forever but I rediscovered it recently and found it moved me again... just as it had so many years ago.
(that is, right up until the point where the sax comes in... at which point it becomes very 80's power ballady and kinda makes me laugh).
