Here are The B-52's, live in the year 1980, their popularity still young, their sound raw and awesome, and the black and white footage gives the performance character, with an artsy approach. A lot of people don't realize the influence this band has; if it weren't for them the Athens scene probably wouldn't have been kicked off, which means no REM and no band from the Elephant Six Collective. Their pseudo-sixties sound inspired many bands to explore it for many years to come.”
