#1 Just watched Rock Doc: The Wrecking crew. Didn't know most of the great music of the 60's came from one stellar ( and humble ) group of studio musicians. Makes you think #2 The subtle, contrasting darkness of this song's lyrics compared to the lightheartedness of its own sound and another similar song, "I get around," foreshadowed and hinted at not only what would come for the boys, the 60's and the country, but for Rock n' Roll in general. #3 This was Wilson's attempt to ape the Ronette's, "Be my Baby" his favorite song.   1
