On this day forty-nine years ago – May 16, 1966 – "Pet Sounds" and Dylan's "Blonde on Blonde" were both released... the greatest album release date ever? "God Only Knows"... the most perfect pop song ever?

I have always loved this song particularly as it is not the run of the mill 'surfing music' ... And admission time It is also one of the few songs which makes me cry...
