My nearest, dearest lady is leaving the country (for good) this week. Here's a tune for that.

The first song written by George Harrison to appear on an album by The Beatles. It originally featured on the group's "With The Beatles" album in the UK, released in 1963, and on their "Meet The Beatles!" album in the US in '64. The song also appears briefly in the "Hard Days Night" film. None of the guys liked the song very much, George even said "I don't think it's a particularly good song..." But fortunately for us, George thought he could do better, so he kept writing. He was also keen to have more songs included on The Fabs albums, as he'd realised he would earn more money!!! In true George droll style he commented about his early song writing saying, "It did, however, provide me with an occupation." As first songs go, we think this is a brilliant effort!!!!   9
