Paul Heaton may not be good looking but he's got a beautiful voice and writes amazing lyrics. This is my favourite Beautiful South song. On first listen it seems just a simple little song but it is so clever and just captures so much in so little time. Genius!
A nice surprise to hear this performed at last night's Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbott gig.
