If you think about it, pirates should be revered for not practicing ableism. Missing a leg? We'll fashion a wooden one for you. Missing a hand? Here's a hook you can use? Lost your eye? Just cover it with a patch. As long as you can pillage, plunder, and cause havoc you'll always be welcome on a pirate ship no matter your physical limits.   1
