I Guess I'll get all pop and shit this week. I hated these guys when I was a kid. As I have grown (aged) and mellowed, I have come to see the beauty in this song and the Cowsills. In case you were unaware, they were the inspiration for the show The Partridge Family. The song was co-written Artie Kornfeld who was one of the organizers of the Woodstock festival. Finally, Susan Cowsill. that's all I can say.
