It just doesn't get any better than Side A of the cassette version of Standing on a Beach. All those perfect singles, lined up in a row. I'll be listening to it every day from now until forever. #favoritealbums

Bought this from Virgin Records in City Arcade,Coventry where Pete 'I Love Trains' Waterman had previously worked.Was served by Tim Strickland who had been the original singer in Coventry Automatics/ Specials.A couple of weeks later,was fortunate enough to see them at Warwick Uni,supported by The Passions and The Associates for £1.25.My recall of 1979 is good but please don't ask me what I did yesterday.
