Best epic narrative and also best 20-minute pretentious indie rock song ever.
Finally picked this up on vinyl, so I'm set, since this is by far my favorite Decemberists stuff. The one time I was lucky enough to see them play live, they started the show by playing this in its entirety. Best thing ever.
