Like many other people into their music in the UK of my age (or similar), John Peel's shows were important in discovering new music that we might not have otherwise heard before the internet really got going for this purpose. So, on the tenth anniversary of Peel's death, I raise a glass to him and listen to at least one band - The Delgados - that he was responsible for me discovering in the first place.
