So long Phil Everly, I've loved you for an age. I remember listening to the Everlys as a child the fact that each song was a contained story really captured my imagination.
The harmonies that they have are incredible. One of my favourite 50s/60s bands to listen to.
just watched Cocktail for the first time since the 80s. this song features in the feel-good ending. i had entirely forgotten as it wasn't included on the soundtrack (which i bought on cassette in 1988 and played over and over and over). aaawh young tom cruise... and le sigh the everly brothers.
