After @Sylvestrian pointed out Francoise Hardy's appearance on the Moonrise Kingdom soundtrack, it occurred to me how much I've enjoyed the music in all of Wes Anderson's films. So I thought I'd showcase a few of my favourite tracks featured in his films - starting with the Kinks #WesAnderson

Had this on repeat all day! Such a tune.
I seem to be jamming another Kinks song. Oh dear! This is from the album Lola versus Powerman and the Moneygoround (1970) which (shame on the British music-buying public) failed to chart at all in the UK.

Listen to that driving guitar line. I would have said "bass", but I know so little about music I didn't want to risk exposing myself. A couple of years before Luke Cage was created, but it's hard not to think of it...
