Sometimes I like to drive around town with this on repeat. Like my own little soundtrack... Still a fab tune.   1

A great fave of mine from a band that should've been bigger...   3

One of rock's simplest yet most evocative love songs, the La's "There She Goes" predated Brit-pop by four years, yet it alluded to Britain's golden era of pop with less irony and considerably more melody and heart.   10

L is for the La's and also 'Looking Glass' but it couldn't be played on here. I have gone for the BIG hit instead as it was the soundtrack to my sixth form days. The album still stands as one of my favourites of all time.   14
