Lloyd Cole & The Leopards are appearing on Later with Jools Holland this coming Tuesday 15th & Friday 18th Oct, performing 3 songs from Lloyds new album, Standards.
Next year Creeping Bent is 20, hard to believe. Our first public performance was a maxi-media event at the Tramway in Glasgow - A Leap Into The Void (BENT 001) in late 1994, the first group on stage were The Leopards. We'd signed them on the basis of their performances at Postcard Records' Fin de Siecle events in the RAF Club in Glasgow, supporting The Nectarine No9. The Leopards released two incredible albums on Creeping Bent, as well as working with Vic Godard and James Kirk over the period. In a strange twist of fate, Lloyd Cole has invited The Leopards to be his group, and LC & Leopards will duly be appearing on Later with Jools Holland this Tuesday 15th / Friday 18th Oct. SURF ON!!!!
