as soon as I found out TIMJ was going to be archived, I knew this song had to be my last jam, seeing as I hadn't posted it before. I've been waiting for the right moment to post it, waiting to see if there were any other songs I wanted to share first, but I finally decided tonight was as good a night as any. this song is my forever favorite; I still remember the first time I heard it, and every time I've listened to it since, it's never failed to affect me the same way. I used to be one of those people who would duck the "what's your all-time favorite song?" question by saying I had too many to choose, but if you asked me now, I'd say "Michigan." it's the prettiest thing I've ever heard, and it means a lot to me for a lot of different reasons. it's cheesy, but this is always the song that makes me the universe feel better to me when I'm feeling out of sorts (despite the fact that this song is pretty frickin' sad). thanks for that, Joe & Ken ♥   1
