Your voice is swallowing my soul.
This is not something that I would usually post as I'm not hugely into singer-songwriting-y tunes but I've been listening to their whole High Violet album on the train loads recently. They give the whole kind of less is more approach a really good name. It's simple things like spacing out the song with synth and the build up of layering that makes me why to listen to The National just to switch off for 15 minutes.
Roll on November... :D
