Nostalgia. Coming of age. Growing up too fast, and not knowing what to do. Trying to find true love, and trying to know what true love actually is. Worrying over missed opportunities, feeling excitement over new ones. Discovering who you are, and who you want to be. Knowing when to hold on, and when to let go. HYBRID RAINBOW is a song about the small, bittersweet moments that we've had, that we take for granted. Something tangible, something real. It's about the people you meet, the times you share with them, and how they affect you. Some people change you for the better, some for the worse. But no matter what, these experiences come and go. You gain those moments, but you may lose that person. This is the jam that defined me as a child, and something that I bring with me to adulthood. I view parts of my childhood as missed opportunities, but I do not look at them in vain. The experiences I have are a part of me, and I cherish them as so.
