This brings back happy memories - including driving around with my sister, with all the windows wound down, singing along at the top of our voices, no doubt annoying anyone in earshot. But when I hear Roxanne I mainly think of when we saw The Police at a gig at the Milton Keynes Bowl in 1980 ( http://www.ukrockfestivals.com/Milton-Keynes-1980.html ). The atmosphere was fantastic - with thousands singing along, in the dark, knee deep in mud.

Great song. Love their version but I always remember Eddie Murphy singing it in 48 Hours.
