Memory Motel by The Rolling Stones

“It’s a very curious thing, but Mick Jagger has never been much for looking back, preferring to feign forgetfulness rather than engage with his own history. Songs are always about “some girl” or “it’s so long ago” he can’t remember. Nothing is ever spelled out. Questions are elided, interviewers subtly turned away. Little is ever revealed in Jagger’s personal hall of mirrors. Mick would never write a book called "Life". Then there is Memory Motel. (continued below)”

Great memories in 2014! Looking forward to making new memories in 2015. My first Beatles jam followed by my first Stones jam. Love this song... for obvious reasons? Very tragically beautiful... lush, simple, melancholy. Great Jagger/Richard harmonies.   6
