The Strokes dropped a new album in 2013... and the world promptly shrugged their collective shoulders. Shame, for The World missed out on the band's best since "Room On Fire", even if it is a little disjointed. At #15 on the track countdown, we have the album's opener with pinging guitars, Julian's strangely captivating falsetto and so much New Wave I feel like I've been transported to the 80s. #bestof2013
