In keeping with the beach theme from last week, I Live for the Sun. I've always liked this little tune, especially the shouted "go" at the beginning of the chorus.

I've had this song in my head for the past few days. It's on oldies radio all the time. I feel like a doofus now. I thought this whole time that it was a Beach Boys song! However, on songfacts.com, I learned: Murry Wilson, the sour-grapes father of Brian, Carl & Dennis, produced the Sunrays, trying to out-do his famous sons after being fired as Beach Boys manager. This song was produced by a vengeful Murry, hoping to make a bigger hit than Brian ever did.
